Hello! I am Sally Wilson, founder of Tread Lightly Landscapes.

I provide consultation services to help you achieve the garden or yard of your dreams through sustainable and maintainable plants and landscaping practices. From planters to entire beds, there is no flower too small at Tread Lightly Landscapes! With my years of experience, I'm confident that I can solve any of your yard problems using the power of plants.

I took an interest in ecology at age 10 and became a horticulturist at age 20. I've spent decades learning about wild and edible plants, local ecologies, and permaculture practices from around the world. For the last 20 years I've been a college instructor in biology, horticulture, and sustainable agriculture as well as a Master Gardener. From kitchen herb garden to native prairie plantings, if you name it I probably planted and have maybe even eaten it!
